Don’t let flu season get you down this year! You’ve been working on your health and your immune system is now stronger than ever, but that doesn’t mean you won’t catch the next bug that’s going around. In fact, if you don’t ever get sick then your immune system may be imbalanced and that can lead to worse allergies or auto-immune conditions.
My goal is always resilience. If you do catch something, how fast do you bounce back? If you are in good health you will typically be sick less frequently, and when you do get sick your symptoms will be more mild and your recovery will be faster. Eating good quality food, consistent exercise, and good stress management goes a long way to keep your immune system strong.
What do you do when you catch something? For covid and other viruses, Astragalus and Elderberry have been working great. I also recommend zinc, vitamins A, D, and whole complex C (Cataplex C or Camu are good options). Find the dosage on the Immune System page below.

Finally, we need to deal with the after-effects of being sick, also known as a cytokine storm. About 3 days after the onset of symptoms start taking Glycine to help the liver break down excess cytokines. It is a very sweet tasting amino acid so feel free to open the capsule and pour it on your tongue!
